Jacob noticed that Laban’s feelings toward him had changed.

And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him with favor as before.

And Jacob began to notice a change in Laban’s attitude toward him.

And from that time on Saul kept a close eye on David.The next day an evil spirit from God came forcefully on Saul. So Jonathan called David and told him the whole conversation. He brought him to Saul, and David was with Saul as before.

But Laban said to him,“ If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay. I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you.”

This is the rule concerning anyone who kills a person and flees there for safety— anyone who kills a neighbor unintentionally, without malice aforethought.
