and he drove all his livestock ahead of him, along with all the goods he had accumulated in Paddan Aram, to go to his father Isaac in the land of Canaan.

以撒年老，眼睛昏花，看不見東西了；他把他的大兒子以掃叫了來，對他說：“我兒啊！”以掃回答他：“我在這裡。”以撒說：“現在我已經老了，不知道甚麼時候會死。

使我可以平平安安地回到我的父家，我就必定以耶和華為我的神，

雅各來到基列．亞巴的幔利他父親以撒那裡，基列．亞巴就是希伯崙，是亞伯拉罕和以撒寄居過的地方。以撒一生的年日共一百八十歲。以撒年紀老邁，享盡天年，就氣絕而死，歸到他的親族那裡去了；他兒子以掃和雅各把他葬了。
