Does he not regard us as foreigners? Not only has he sold us, but he has used up what was paid for us.

“ If a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.If she doesn’t please her master, who has married her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her.If he marries her to his son, he shall deal with her as a daughter.If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.If he doesn’t do these three things for her, she may go free without paying any money.

I said to them,“ We, after our ability, have redeemed our brothers the Jews that were sold to the nations; and would you even sell your brothers, and should they be sold to us?” Then they held their peace, and found not a word to say.

Fulfill the week of this one, and we will give you the other also for the service which you will serve with me for seven more years.”Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week. He gave him Rachel his daughter as wife.Laban gave Bilhah, his servant, to his daughter Rachel to be her servant.He went in also to Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him seven more years.

These twenty years I have been in your house. I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.
