And he said,‘ Look up and see that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled or spotted, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

He said,‘ Look around you. See the male goats mating with the flock. All of them have stripes, speckles or spots. That’s because I have seen everything that Laban has been doing to you.

And he said,‘ Lift up your eyes and see, all the goats that mate with the flock are striped, spotted, and mottled, for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.

“ The angel said,‘ Look up, and you will see that only the streaked, speckled, and spotted males are mating with the females of your flock. For I have seen how Laban has treated you.

And he said,‘ Look up and see: all the males that are mating with the flocks are streaked, spotted, and speckled, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

He said,‘ Now raise your eyes and see that all the male goats that are mating are striped, speckled, or mottled; for I have seen everything that Laban has been doing to you.

And He said,‘ Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.

And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see: all the he- goats which leap upon the flock are ringstreaked, speckled, and grizzled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

And He said,‘ Look up and see: all the males that are mating with the flocks are streaked, spotted, and speckled, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle[ are] ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

Then he said,‘ Observe that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled, or spotted, for I have observed all that Laban has done to you.

He said,‘ Now lift up your eyes, and behold, all the male goats which leap on the flock are streaked, speckled, and grizzled, for I have seen all that Laban does to you.

耶和華說：“我的子民在埃及所受的痛苦，我實在看見了；他們因受督工的轄制所發的呼聲，我也聽見了；他們的痛苦，我是知道的。

如果不是我父親的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的神，與我同在，你現在必定打發我空手回去。但神看見了我的苦情和我手中的辛勞，所以他昨天晚上責備了你。”

我的子民在埃及所受的痛苦，我實在看見了；他們的歎息我也聽見了，我下來是要救他們。你來，我要派你到埃及去。’

你們作主人的，也要照樣對待奴僕，不要威嚇他們；你們知道，他們和你們在天上同有一位主，他並不偏待人。

我行路，我躺臥，你都細察；我的一切行為，你都熟悉。

“不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可搶奪他的東西；雇工的工錢，不可扣留在你那裡到早晨。

你要當日給他工錢，不可等到日落，因為他貧窮，把心放在工錢上，免得他對你不滿而呼求耶和華，你就有罪了。

如果你在一省之中，看到窮人遭受欺壓，公正和公義被奪去，也不必因此驚訝，因為高位者之上有較高的照應，在他們之上還有更高的。

現在以色列人的呼聲已經達到我的面前，我也看見了埃及人對他們所施的壓迫。

耶和華說：“因為困苦人的冤屈和貧窮人的歎息，我現在要起來，把他們安置在他們渴望的穩妥之中。”

雅各拿楊樹、杏樹和楓樹的嫩枝子，把樹皮剝成白色的條紋，使枝子露出白的部分來。然後把剝了皮的枝子插在水溝和水槽裡，枝子正對著來喝水的羊群。羊群來喝水的時候，就彼此交配。羊群對著枝子交配，就生下有條紋和有斑點的小羊來。雅各把羊羔分別出來，使拉班的羊，對著這些有條紋的和所有黑色的羊。他為自己另組羊群，不把牠們放在拉班的羊群中。到了肥壯的羊群要交配的時候，雅各就在羊群的面前把枝子插在水溝裡，使牠們在枝子中間彼此交配。但當瘦弱的羊群交配的時候，雅各就不插枝子。這樣，瘦弱的就歸拉班，肥壯的就歸雅各。於是，雅各變得非常富有，擁有很多羊群、僕婢、駱駝和驢。
