我未來以前，你擁有的很少，現在卻已大量增加，因為耶和華隨着我的腳步賜福給你。現在，我到甚麼時候才可以成家立業呢？」

請你收下我帶來給你的禮物，因為神恩待我，使我一切都充足。」雅各再三求他，他才收下。

你向僕人所施的一切慈愛和信實，我一點也不配得。我先前只用我的一根杖過這約旦河，如今我卻成了兩隊。

我買了僕婢，也有生在家中的僕婢；又有許多牛羣羊羣，勝過我以前所有在耶路撒冷的人。

看哪，我必與你同在，無論你往哪裏去，我必保佑你，領你歸回這地。我總不離棄你，直到我實現了對你所說的話。」

若不是我父親以撒所敬畏的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手而去。神看見我的苦情和我手的辛勞，就在昨夜責備了你。」

他們不必從田野撿柴，也不必從森林伐木，因為他們要用這些軍器燒火。他們要搶奪那搶奪他們的人，擄掠那擄掠他們的人。這是主耶和華說的。」

因為他們擁有的很多，不能住在一起。因為牲畜的緣故，寄居的地方容不下他們。
