我未来以前，你拥有的很少，现在却已大量增加，因为耶和华随着我的脚步赐福给你。现在，我到什么时候才可以成家立业呢？”

请你收下我带来给你的礼物，因为神恩待我，使我一切都充足。”雅各再三求他，他才收下。

你向仆人所施的一切慈爱和信实，我一点也不配得。我先前只用我的一根杖过这约旦河，如今我却成了两队。

我买了仆婢，也有生在家中的仆婢；又有许多牛群羊群，胜过我以前所有在耶路撒冷的人。

看哪，我必与你同在，无论你往哪里去，我必保佑你，领你归回这地。我总不离弃你，直到我实现了对你所说的话。”

若不是我父亲以撒所敬畏的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神与我同在，你如今必定打发我空手而去。神看见我的苦情和我手的辛劳，就在昨夜责备了你。”

他们不必从田野捡柴，也不必从森林伐木，因为他们要用这些军器烧火。他们要抢夺那抢夺他们的人，掳掠那掳掠他们的人。这是主耶和华说的。”

可是你们的父亲欺骗我，十次更改我的工资，但神不容许他害我。他若说：‘有点的归给你作工资’，羊群所生的都是有点的；他若说：‘有纹的归给你作工资’，羊群所生的都是有纹的。

因为他们拥有的很多，不能住在一起。因为牲畜的缘故，寄居的地方容不下他们。
