其实在我来之前，你拥有的很少，后来却大大增多了；耶和华随着我的脚踪祝福了你；而如今，我什么时候才能为自己的家做点事呢？”

请你收下我带给你的礼物吧！因为神恩待我，我什么都有了。”雅各再三劝说，他才收下。

你向你仆人所施行的一切慈爱和信实，我一点也不配。我先前只带着一根木杖过这约旦河，如今我却拥有这两队了。

我买下了男仆和婢女，我也有生在我家里的奴仆；我还拥有大量的牛群和羊群，超过我之前在耶路撒冷的所有人；

看哪，我与你同在！你无论往哪里去，我都会保守你，并且要把你带回这地。我必不离弃你，直到成就了我对你所说的。”

要不是我父亲的神，亚伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的那一位与我同在，你现在一定会打发我空手而去。神看到我的苦情和我手上的辛劳，就在昨夜责备了你。”

你们的父亲却愚弄我，十次更改了我的工酬；但神不允许他伤害我。如果他说：‘羊中有点的是你的工酬’，群羊就都生有点的；如果他说：‘羊中有纹的是你的工酬’，群羊就都生有纹的。

因为两人拥有的很多，不能住在一起；他们的牲畜众多，寄居之地容不下他们。
