Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

雅各向拉结生气，说：“叫你不生育的是神，我岂能代替他作主呢？”

雅各对拉结生气，说：“是我代替上帝使你生不出孩子的吗？”

雅各对拉结生气，说：“是我代替神使你生不出孩子的吗？”

雅各气愤地说：“使你不能生育的是上帝，难道我能代替上帝吗？”

雅各就向拉结生气，说：“使你不能生育的是神，我能代替他吗？”

雅各的怒气就向瑞秋发作，说：“我难道能代替神吗？是他不让你腹中有胎儿。”

雅各向拉結生氣，說：「叫你不生育的是神，我豈能代替他作主呢？」

雅各對拉結生氣，說：「是我代替上帝使你生不出孩子的嗎？」

雅各的怒氣就向拉結發作，說：『我哪能代替上帝做主呢？是他不使你有腹中的果子呀。』

雅各的怒氣就向拉結發作，說：「我難道能代替神嗎？是他不讓你腹中有胎兒。」

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、上帝也、我豈代為上帝乎、

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、在上帝、豈在我乎。

雅各怒拉結曰、使爾不育者乃天主、我豈能代天主乎、

Jacob became angry with her and said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

Jacob became angry with her. He said,“ Do you think I’m God? He’s the one who has kept you from having children.”

Then Jacob became furious with Rachel.“ Am I God?” he asked.“ He’s the one who has kept you from having children!”

Jacob became angry with Rachel and said,“ Am I in the place of God? He has withheld offspring from you!”

Then Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Jacob became angry with Rachel and said,“ Am I in God’s place, who has withheld children from you?”

Jacob became furious with Rachel and exclaimed,“ Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

And Sarai said to Abram,“ Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

But to Hannah he gave a double portion, because he loved her, though the Lord had closed her womb.

And when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said,“ Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Only consider, and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me.”

When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

But Joseph said to them,“ Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?

And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

Then Jacob became angry and berated Laban. Jacob said to Laban,“ What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?

Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger. The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn.The Lord kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!

For the Lord had closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that he swore to your fathers to give you.You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

And Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren. And the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

and she exclaimed with a loud cry,“ Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
