But the LORD God called to the man and said to him,“ Where are you?”

永恆主上帝呼喚那人說：『你在哪裏？』

耶和華神呼喚那人，對他說：「你在哪裡？」

耶和華上帝呼其人曰、汝何在、

耶和華上帝召亞當云、汝何在。

耶和華天主呼亞當曰、爾何在、

But the Lord God called to the man,“ Where are you?”

But the Lord God called out to the man.“ Where are you?” he asked.

And Jehovah God called unto the man, and said unto him, Where art thou?

Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him,“ Where are you?”

Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?” And he replied,“ I don’t know! Am I my brother’s guardian?”

So the LORD said,“ The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so blatantthat I must go down and see if they are as wicked as the outcry suggests. If not, I want to know.”

He then made the clans of Judah approach and the clan of the Zerahites was selected. He made the clan of the Zerahites approach and Zabdi was selected.He then made Zabdi’s family approach man by man and Achan son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, from the tribe of Judah, was selected.So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

He said,“ Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She replied,“ I’m running away from my mistress, Sarai.”

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Then books were opened, and another book was opened– the book of life. So the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds.The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the people had started building.
