When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

The woman saw that the tree’s fruit was good to eat and pleasing to look at. She also saw that it would make a person wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. And he ate it.

又不是亞當受欺騙，乃是女人受欺騙、以致違背命令。

各人被試誘，都是被自己的私慾所勾引所餌誘；然後私慾受了孕，才產生罪；罪既長成，就產出死來。

有一天傍晚時分、大衛從床上起來，在王宮的房頂上來回地走；就從房頂上看見一個婦人在洗澡：那婦人容貌非常俊美。

我在掠物中看見一件美好的示拿袍子、二百舍客勒銀子、一條金子、重五十舍客勒，我就貪愛這些物件，拿走了；看哪，現在正埋在我帳棚中的地裏呢，銀子在袍子底下。』

『人子啊，你看吧，我要用暴卒病將你眼目所喜愛的取去；你卻不可號咷哭泣，也不可流淚。

『人子啊，我從他們中間取去——他們所倚靠的保障、他們華美的喜悅物，他們眼裏所喜愛的、心中所仰賴而寄託的、以及他們的兒女、——的日子，

故此、罪怎樣藉着一個人而入了世界，死又藉着罪而入了世界，死也怎樣因萬人都犯了罪而傳遍到萬人。沒有律法之先、罪已經在世界上了；不過沒有律法、罪是不算為罪的。然而從亞當到摩西、連那些不按亞當犯法的樣子去犯罪的人，死也掌了王權去管轄他們。亞當原是後來要到的那位之豫像。但上帝的恩賜是遠超乎人之過犯的；萬眾既因那一人的過犯而死，那麼上帝之恩典、以及在耶穌基督一人恩典中白白之恩、豈不越發加給萬眾麼？上帝的恩賞又是遠超乎一人犯罪之結果的：因為罪案是起於一次的過犯、而有定罪之事；但恩賜呢、雖起於許多次過犯，卻仍有斷為無罪之舉。死既因那一人的過犯、藉那一人而掌王權，那麼那些領受滿溢之恩典和稱義白白之恩的人、豈不更要藉着耶穌基督一人而在生命中掌王權麼？這麼說來，因一人的過犯、萬人怎樣都受定罪；照樣，因一人所行的義、萬人也怎樣都被斷為無罪而得生命。因那一人之不聽從、萬眾也怎樣被認為罪人；照樣，因這一人之聽從、萬眾也怎樣都被認為義人。

這些事以後，約瑟主人的妻子舉目送情給約瑟說：『和我同寢吧。』

但是我告訴你們、凡看婦女、而動慾念的，這人心裏已經和她犯了姦淫了。

神子們看見人類的女子俊美，就隨意揀選娶為妻子。

那人說：『你所賜給我、和我同居的女人，她把那樹上的果子給了我，我就喫了。』

參孫到了迦薩，在那裏看見一個廟妓女，就進去找她。有人告訴迦薩人說：『參孫到這裏來了』，他們就把他團團圍住，終夜在城門那裏埋伏等着他，終夜不作聲，說：『等到早晨天亮、我們便殺他。』

然而他們卻在亞當渡越犯了盟約，在那裏以詭詐待我。

對亞當永恆主上帝則說：『你既聽了你妻子的話，喫那樹上的果子，就是我吩咐你說：「不可喫」的，那麼土地就必因你的緣故而受咒詛；儘你一生的日子你必勞苦，才能從土地得喫的；

『我對我的眼立約，我怎能戀戀瞻望處女呢？

「你要告訴以色列家說：主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必使我的聖所、你們勢力所驕矜的、你們眼裏所喜愛的、你們心中所愛惜的、被褻瀆；你們留下的兒女必倒斃於刀下。
