When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

The woman saw that the tree’s fruit was good to eat and pleasing to look at. She also saw that it would make a person wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. And he ate it.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

并且不是亚当受骗，而是那女人受骗、陷在过犯里。

而每个人受诱惑，都是被自己的欲望所牵扯、所引诱的；一旦欲望怀了胎，就生下罪来；罪长成了，就生出死亡。

所以，正如罪是藉着一个人进入了世界，并且死是藉着罪进入的；这样，因为人人都犯了罪，死也就临到了所有的人。就是说，没有律法以前，罪已经在世上了；不过没有律法，罪就不算为罪。然而，从亚当到摩西，死亡掌了权，甚至那些没有按亚当过犯的样式犯罪的人，也在死的权下。这亚当是以后要来的那一位的象征。但是恩赐不同于过犯。原来，一个人的过犯尚且使众人都死了，何况神的恩典和耶稣基督一个人恩典里的赏赐，难道不更要丰丰富富地临到众人吗？而且，恩赐不同于由一个人犯罪而来的后果。因为，由一次过犯而来的审判虽然导致了定罪，但由很多过犯而来的恩赐却导致了称义。实际上，一个人的过犯尚且使死亡藉着这一个人掌了权，何况那些领受丰富之恩典和称义之赏赐的人，难道不更要藉着耶稣基督一个人，在生命里掌权吗？由此可见，藉着一次的过犯导致了所有人的定罪；照样，藉着一次的义行给所有的人带来永生的称义。就是说，藉着一个人的悖逆，众人怎样都成了罪人；藉着一个人的顺从，众人将怎样成为义人。

这些事以后，约瑟主人的妻子看上了约瑟，对他说：“与我同睡吧！”

但是我告诉你们：所有怀着欲念看女人的，就已经在心里和她通奸了。

神的儿子们看到人的女儿们美丽，就从中任意挑选，为自己娶来为妻。

那人说：“你赐给我那与我在一起的女人——她把那棵树上的果实给了我，我就吃了。”

神又对亚当说：“因为你听从了你妻子的话，吃了我吩咐你‘不可吃’的那棵树的果实，土地就因你的缘故受诅咒；你一生所有的日子都必辛苦，才能从土地得吃的。
