那人說：「我在園子裡聽見你的聲音就害怕，因為我是赤身的；於是我躲藏了。」

他说：“我在园中听见你的声音，我就害怕；因为我赤身露体，我便藏了。”

他说：“我在园中听见你的声音，我就害怕；因为我赤身露体，我就藏了起来。”

他说：“我在园中听见你的声音，我就害怕；因为我赤身露体，我就藏了起来。”

那人说：“我听见你在园中行走的声音，就害怕得躲了起来，因为我赤身露体！”

他回答：“我在园中听见你的声音，就害怕；因为我赤身露体，就藏了起来。”

那人说：“我在园子里听见你的声音就害怕，因为我是赤身的；于是我躲藏了。”

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我便藏了。」

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我就藏了起來。」

他說：「我在園中聽見你的聲音，我就害怕；因為我赤身露體，我就藏了起來。」

那人說：「我聽見你在園中行走的聲音，就害怕得躲了起來，因為我赤身露體！」

他回答：“我在園中聽見你的聲音，就害怕；因為我赤身露體，就藏了起來。”

他說：『我聽見你的聲音在園中，我就害怕，因為我赤身裸體；我便藏了起來。』

曰、我聞爾聲於囿、以我裸故、畏而自匿、

曰、我聞爾聲於囿、以我裸故、畏而自匿。

曰、我聞爾聲於園中、以我裸體故、遂畏而自匿、

He answered,“ I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

“ I heard you in the garden,” the man answered.“ I was afraid, because I was naked. So I hid.”

And he said,“ I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”

He replied,“ I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

And he said,“ I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

He said,“ I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

So he said,“ I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And he said,“ I heard You in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I[ was] naked; and I hid myself.

The man replied,“ I heard you moving about in the orchard, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

The man said,“ I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

當時那人和他的妻子都是赤身的，彼此也不覺得羞恥。

你究竟害怕誰、畏懼誰，以致說謊、不記念我，也不把我放在心上呢？難道我長久以來不是一直靜默嗎？難道你們因此就不敬畏我了嗎？

我的肉體因懼怕你而戰慄，我敬畏你的法規。

就算我們的心責備自己，我們在神面前也可以安心，因為神比我們的心更大，並且他知道一切。

你的下體必被露出，你的羞恥必被看見。我要施行報復，不放過任何人。

於是他們兩人的眼睛開了，知道自己是赤身的，就把無花果樹的葉子縫合起來，為自己做了腰上的遮蓋。

因為你說『我是富有的；我發了財，什麼都不缺』，卻不知道你是可悲的、可憐的、貧窮的、瞎眼的、赤身的。我建議你向我買被火煉過的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥抹你的眼睛，使你能看見。

罪人在錫安懼怕，不敬虔的人被戰兢抓住，說：「我們中間誰能與吞噬之火同住？我們中間誰能與不滅之焰共居？」

「看哪，我要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣！那警醒並保持衣著在身，免得赤身行走被人看見他羞處的，這樣的人是蒙福的。」
