但是永恆主上帝所造的、田野一切的活物惟有蛇最狡猾。蛇對女人說：『園中各樣樹的果子、上帝真地說過你們都不可喫麼？』

在耶和華神所造的田野各樣活物中，蛇是最狡猾的。牠對女人說：「難道神真說過，你們不可吃這園子中任何樹上的果實嗎？」

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God really say,‘ You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

The serpent was more clever than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. The serpent said to the woman,“ Did God really say,‘ You must not eat fruit from any tree in the garden’?”

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God actually say,‘ You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”

The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman,“ Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”

Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God really say,‘ You can’t eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman,“ Has God really said,‘ You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman,“ Has God indeed said,‘ You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God really say,‘ You can’t eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Now the serpent was more shrewd than any of the wild animals that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman,“ Is it really true that God said,‘ You must not eat from any tree of the orchard’?”

Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman,“ Has God really said,‘ You shall not eat of any tree of the garden’?”

我只怕你們的心偏邪了，失去那向基督所獻誠懇貞潔的心，就像蛇用詭詐誘惑了夏娃一樣。

這也不足為奇，因為連撒但也裝作光明的天使。

大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的；牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。

他抓住那龍，那古蛇，就是魔鬼、撒但，把牠捆綁了一千年，

「看哪！我差你們出去，如同羊進入狼羣，所以你們要機警如蛇，純真如鴿。

那試探者進前來對他說：「你若是神的兒子，叫這些石頭變成食物吧。」

耶和華神對女人說：「你怎麼會做這種事呢？」女人說：「那蛇引誘我，我就吃了。」耶和華神對蛇說：「你既做了這事，就必受詛咒，比一切的牲畜和野獸更重。你必用肚子行走，終生吃土。我要使你和女人彼此為仇，你的後裔和女人的後裔也彼此為仇。他要傷你的頭，你要傷他的腳跟。」

對他說：「你若是神的兒子，就跳下去！因為經上記着：『主要為你命令他的使者，用手托住你，免得你的腳碰在石頭上。』」

到那日，耶和華必用他堅硬銳利的大刀懲罰力威亞探，就是那爬得快的蛇，懲罰力威亞探，就是那彎彎曲曲的蛇，並殺死海裏的大魚。

耶和華使驢開口，對巴蘭說：「我向你做了甚麼，你竟打我這三次呢？」巴蘭對驢說：「因為你戲弄我，我恨不得手中有刀，現在就把你殺了。」

同樣，你們作丈夫的，要按情理跟妻子共同生活，體貼女性是比較軟弱的器皿；要尊重她，因為她也與你一同承受生命之恩。這樣，你們的禱告就不會受阻礙。

若是跌倒，這人可以扶起他的同伴；倘若孤身跌倒，沒有別人扶起他來，這人就有禍了。

對他說：「你若俯伏拜我，我就把這一切賜給你。」
