She conceived again, gave birth to a son, and said,“ The LORD heard that I am neglected and has given me this son also.” So she named him Simeon.

她又怀孕生子，就说：“耶和华因为听见我失宠，所以又赐给我这个儿子”，于是给他起名叫西缅。

她又怀孕生子，给他起名叫西缅，说：“耶和华因为听见我失宠，所以又赐给我这个儿子。”

再妊生子、命名西緬、曰、耶和華聞我不見寵、復錫我此子、

再妊生子、命名西面、曰、耶和華聞我不見寵、復賜我此子。

再孕生子、曰、主聞我不見寵、復賜我子、故名之曰西緬西緬譯即聞知之義

She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said,“ Because the Lord heard that I am not loved, he gave me this one too.” So she named him Simeon.

She became pregnant again. She had a son. Then she said,“ The Lord heard that Jacob doesn’t love me very much. That’s why the Lord gave me this one too.” So she named him Simeon.

She conceived again and bore a son, and said,“ Because the Lord has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.

She soon became pregnant again and gave birth to another son. She named him Simeon, for she said,“ The Lord heard that I was unloved and has given me another son.”

Then she conceived again and gave birth to a son, and said,“ Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” So she named him Simeon.

Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said,“ Because the Lord has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.

And she conceived again, and bare a son: and said, Because Jehovah hath heard that I am hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.

She conceived again, gave birth to a son, and said,“ The Lord heard that I am unloved and has given me this son also.” So she named him Simeon.

And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I[ was] hated, he hath therefore given me this[ son] also: and she called his name Simeon.

She became pregnant again and had another son. She said,“ Because the LORD heard that I was unloved, he gave me this one too.” So she named him Simeon.

She conceived again, and bore a son, and said,“ Because Yahweh has heard that I am hated, he has therefore given me this son also.” She named him Simeon.

On the third day, when they were still in pain, two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, took their swords, went into the unsuspecting city, and killed every male.

Simeon and Levi are brothers; their knives are vicious weapons.May I never enter their council; may I never join their assembly. For in their anger they kill men, and on a whim they hamstring oxen.

Leah said,“ God has rewarded me for giving my slave to my husband,” and she named him Issachar.

“ God has given me a good gift,” Leah said.“ This time my husband will honor me because I have borne six sons for him,” and she named him Zebulun.

He turned away from them and wept. When he turned back and spoke to them, he took Simeon from them and had him bound before their eyes.

Leah’s sons were Reuben( Jacob’s firstborn), Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.

Rachel said,“ God has vindicated me; yes, he has heard me and given me a son,” so she named him Dan.

Rachel said,“ In my wrestlings with God, I have wrestled with my sister and won,” and she named him Naphtali.

Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi,“ You have brought trouble on me, making me odious to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites. We are few in number; if they unite against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.”
