John 2:1-10
On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there;and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus* said to Him,“ They have no wine.”And Jesus* said to her,“ What business do you have with Me, woman? My hour has not yet come.”His mother* said to the servants,“ Whatever He tells you, do it.”Now there were six stone waterpots standing there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing two or three measures each.Jesus* said to them,“ Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.And He* said to them,“ Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” And they took it to him.Now when the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from( but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter* called the groom,and* said to him,“ Every man serves the good wine first, and when the guests are drunk, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”

Matthew 25:1-10
“ Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them;but the prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps.Now while the groom was delaying, they all became drowsy and began to sleep.But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones,‘ Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’However, the prudent ones answered,‘ No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

Ruth 4:10-13
Furthermore, I have acquired Ruth the Moabitess, the widow of Mahlon, to be my wife in order to raise up the name of the deceased on his inheritance, so that the name of the deceased will not be eliminated from his brothers or from the court of his birth place; you are witnesses today.”And all the people who were in the court, and the elders, said,“ We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, both of whom built the house of Israel; and may you achieve wealth in Ephrathah and become famous in Bethlehem.Moreover, may your house be like the house of Perez whom Tamar bore to Judah, through the descendants whom the Lord will give you by this young woman.”So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife, and he had relations with her. And the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.

Matthew 22:2-10
“ The kingdom of heaven is like a king who held a wedding feast for his son.And he sent his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come.Again he sent other slaves, saying,‘ Tell those who have been invited,“ Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened cattle are all butchered and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast!” ’But they paid no attention and went their separate ways, one to his own farm, another to his business,and the rest seized his slaves and treated them abusively, and then killed them.Now the king was angry, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire.Then he* said to his slaves,‘ The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find there to the wedding feast.’Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.

Judges 14:10-18
Then his father went down to the woman; and Samson held a feast there, for the young men customarily did this.When they saw him, they brought thirty companions to be with him.Then Samson said to them,“ Let me now propose a riddle for you; if you actually tell me the answer within the seven days of the feast, and solve it, then I will give you thirty linen wraps and thirty outfits of clothes.But if you are unable to tell me, then you shall give me thirty linen wraps and thirty outfits of clothes.” And they said to him,“ Propose your riddle, so that we may hear it.”So he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” But they could not tell the answer to the riddle in three days.Then it came about on the fourth day that they said to Samson’s wife,“ Entice your husband, so that he will tell us the riddle, or we will burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you invited us to impoverish us? Is this not so?”So Samson’s wife wept in front of him and said,“ You only hate me, and you do not love me; you have proposed a riddle to the sons of my people, and have not told it to me.” And he said to her,“ Behold, I have not told it to my father or mother; so should I tell you?”However she wept before him for seven days while their feast lasted. And on the seventh day he told her because she pressed him so hard. She then told the riddle to the sons of her people.So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down,“ What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” And he said to them,“ If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have found out my riddle.”

Revelation 19:9
Then he* said to me,“ Write:‘ Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’ ” And he* said to me,“ These are the true words of God.”
