Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife that I may go in to her, for my time is completed.”

雅各謂拉班曰、期已屆、請以妻我、使我成禮、

屆期謂拉班曰、其期已屆、盍妻我、使我成禮。

雅各謂拉班曰、其期已屆、以我妻給我、使我成禮、或作使我與之同室

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to make love to her.”

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife. I’ve completed my time. I want to sleep with her.”

Finally, the time came for him to marry her.“ I have fulfilled my agreement,” Jacob said to Laban.“ Now give me my wife so I can sleep with her.”

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Since my time is complete, give me my wife, so I can sleep with her.”

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my time is completed, that I may have relations with her.”

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her.”

And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my time is completed. I want to sleep with her.”

And Jacob said unto Laban, Give[ me] my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.

Finally Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my time of service is up. I want to have marital relations with her.”

Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her.”

After some days, at the time of wheat harvest, Samson went to visit his wife with a young goat. And he said,“ I will go in to my wife in the chamber.” But her father would not allow him to go in.

So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her.

He turned to her at the roadside and said,“ Come, let me come in to you,” for he did not know that she was his daughter-in-law. She said,“ What will you give me, that you may come in to me?”

Jacob loved Rachel. And he said,“ I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”

These twenty years I have been in your house. I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying,“ I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord.”
