以亞伯拉罕之嘏錫爾、爰及苗裔、昔上帝以斯土錫亞伯拉罕、而爾旅之、今願與爾為業。

以所許亞伯拉罕之福、賜爾及爾後裔、以所賜亞伯拉罕之地、即爾所寄居之地、賜爾為業、

May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

May he give you and your children after you the blessing he gave to Abraham. Then you can take over the land where you now live as an outsider. It’s the land God gave to Abraham.”

May he give the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said,“ To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

“ Hear my prayer, O Lord, And give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.

blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying,“ In you all the nations shall be blessed.”

By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude— innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.

“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:“ Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are— northward, southward, eastward, and westward;for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

Now the Lord had said to Abram:“ Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:“ To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates—the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites,the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim,the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

Then He brought him outside and said,“ Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him,“ So shall your descendants be.”And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.Then He said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,Saying,“ To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,”When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it.
