以亞伯拉罕之嘏錫爾、及爾苗裔、俾承所旅之地、即昔上帝所賜亞伯拉罕者、

以亞伯拉罕之嘏錫爾、爰及苗裔、昔上帝以斯土錫亞伯拉罕、而爾旅之、今願與爾為業。

以所許亞伯拉罕之福、賜爾及爾後裔、以所賜亞伯拉罕之地、即爾所寄居之地、賜爾為業、

May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

May he give you and your children after you the blessing he gave to Abraham. Then you can take over the land where you now live as an outsider. It’s the land God gave to Abraham.”

这样，赐给亚伯拉罕的祝福可以借着基督耶稣临到外族人，使我们也可以借着信得到上帝应许赐给我们的圣灵。

耶和华向亚伯兰显现，对他说：“我要把这片土地赐给你的后裔。”亚伯兰就在那里为向他显现的耶和华筑了一座坛。

赞美我们主耶稣基督的父上帝！祂在基督里赐给了我们天上各样属灵的恩福。

“耶和华啊，求你垂听我的祷告，倾听我的呼求，别对我的眼泪视若无睹。因为我在你面前只是客旅，是寄居的，正如我的祖先。

我必赐福给你，使你的后裔多如天上的星和海边的沙。你的后裔必占领仇敌的城池，天下万国必因你的后裔而蒙福，因为你听从了我的话。’”

我要使你的子孙极其兴旺，许多民族和君王必从你而出。我要和你并你的子子孙孙立永恒的约，我要做你和你子孙的上帝。我要把你现在寄居的整个迦南赐给你和你的后裔永远作产业，我也必做他们的上帝。”

圣经早就指明，上帝要叫外族人因信而被称为义人，祂预先将福音传给亚伯拉罕，说：“万国必因你而蒙福。”

他凭信心像异乡人一样寄居在上帝应许给他的地方。他住在帐篷里，与同受一个应许的以撒和雅各一样。因为他盼望的是一座有根基的城，是由上帝设计、建造的。撒拉过了生育年龄后凭信心仍然得到了孕育后代的能力，因为她认定赐她应许的上帝言出必行。所以，从一个垂暮之年的人生出许多子孙，好像天上的星、海边的沙那么多。这些人到死都满怀信心。他们虽然没有得到上帝所应许的，却从远处望见了，就欢喜快乐，承认自己在世上不过是寄居的异乡人。

愿他的名流芳百世，如日长存。愿万国都因他而蒙福，都称颂他。

“过犯得到赦免、罪恶被遮盖的人有福了。不被主定罪的人有福了。”

罗得离开后，耶和华对亚伯兰说：“从你站的地方向东西南北眺望，你所能看见的地方，我都要赐给你和你的后代，直到永远。我要使你的后代多如地上的尘土，人若能数算地上的尘土，才能数算你的后代。你起来走遍这片土地，因为我要把这片土地赐给你。”

耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你要离开家乡、亲族和父亲的家，到我要指示你的地方去。我必使你成为大国，我必赐福给你，使你声名远播。你必成为别人的祝福。我必赐福给那些祝福你的人，咒诅那些咒诅你的人。世上万族必因你而蒙福。”

就在那天，耶和华跟亚伯兰立约，说：“我必将这片土地赐给你的后代，使他们得到从埃及河到幼发拉底河一带的土地，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人和耶布斯人的土地。”

耶和华把亚伯兰带到外面，对他说：“你抬头看看天空，数数繁星，你能数得尽吗？你的后裔必这么多。”亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华便算他为义人。耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，我带你离开了迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这片土地赐给你。”
