Go at once to Paddan Aram, to the house of your mother’s father Bethuel. Take a wife for yourself there, from among the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.

Go at once to Paddan Aram. Go to the house of your mother’s father Bethuel. Find a wife for yourself there. Take her from among the daughters of your mother’s brother Laban.

Arise, go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father, and take as your wife from there one of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother.

Instead, go at once to Paddan aram, to the house of your grandfather Bethuel, and marry one of your uncle Laban’s daughters.

以撒四十歲、娶巴坦亞蘭地亞蘭人彼土利女、拉班妹利百加為妻。

昔雅各、以色列遁於亞蘭、供其服役、以牧群畜、而後有室、

此雅各子孫、與女底拿生於巴坦亞蘭、屬利亞所出者、共三十三人。

雅各自巴坦亞蘭歸、上帝復顯現、錫嘏曰、

爾所施之恩寵、真實無妄、我不堪得、昔我惟執一杖濟約但河、今我群從已成二隊。

拉班與彼土利曰、事由耶和華、毋庸辨其是非、

以撒遣雅各往巴坦亞蘭、見亞蘭人彼土利子拉班、即以掃雅各之舅氏。○

厥後人告亞伯拉罕云、密迦從爾兄拿鶴生子、伯曰戶斯、仲曰布斯、季曰基母利、基母利生亞蘭、密迦又生基泄、哈鎖、必達、益臘、彼土利、此八人者、皆密迦從亞伯拉罕兄拿鶴、所出。彼土利生女利百加。

利百加有兄名拉班、見鼻環與手釧、聞妹利百加述僕所言、則趨外迓僕、時僕尚立井旁、駝亦在側、語之、

攜所有者、與在巴坦亞蘭所獲之牲畜、歸於迦南、見父以撒。

言未竟、利百加負汲器出。彼乃亞伯拉罕兄拿鶴與妻密迦之子彼土利所生、其容甚麗、尚為處女、未曾適人、即臨井汲水、盈其器而上。僕趨迎之曰、請以器中之水、飲我一勺。曰、吾主請飲。乃急授器飲之。飲畢、女曰、我更汲水、飲爾鴕、使足其量。遂傾汲器於槽、急臨井汲水、以飲群駝。僕奇之、默然弗語、疑耶和華果賜我坦途與。俟駝飲竟、遂取金鼻環、重二錢有半、金釧二、重五兩、贈之、曰、汝誰氏女、請告我、汝父之家、可有隙地、以旅我乎。曰吾乃拿鶴與密迦之孫彼土利之女。

主之全業、統轄於此僕、故於主所有之駝中取十而往、至米所波大米、拿鶴所居之邑。
