Go at once to Paddan Aram, to the house of your mother’s father Bethuel. Take a wife for yourself there, from among the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.

Go at once to Paddan Aram. Go to the house of your mother’s father Bethuel. Find a wife for yourself there. Take her from among the daughters of your mother’s brother Laban.

Arise, go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father, and take as your wife from there one of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother.

Instead, go at once to Paddan aram, to the house of your grandfather Bethuel, and marry one of your uncle Laban’s daughters.

以撒娶利百加為妻的時候正四十歲。利百加是巴旦‧亞蘭地的亞蘭人彼土利的女兒，是亞蘭人拉班的妹子。

從前雅各逃到亞蘭地，以色列為得妻服事人，為得妻與人放羊。

這是利亞在巴旦‧亞蘭給雅各所生的兒子，還有女兒底拿。兒孫共有三十三人。

雅各從巴旦‧亞蘭回來，神又向他顯現，賜福與他，

你向僕人所施的一切慈愛和誠實，我一點也不配得；我先前只拿着我的杖過這約旦河，如今我卻成了兩隊了。

拉班和彼土利回答說：「這事乃出於耶和華，我們不能向你說好說歹。

以撒打發雅各走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏。拉班是雅各、以掃的母舅。

這事以後，有人告訴亞伯拉罕說：「密迦給你兄弟拿鶴生了幾個兒子，長子是烏斯，他的兄弟是布斯和亞蘭的父親基母利，並基薛、哈瑣、必達、益拉、彼土利（彼土利生利百加）。」這八個人都是密迦給亞伯拉罕的兄弟拿鶴生的。

利百加有一個哥哥，名叫拉班，看見金環，又看見金鐲在他妹子的手上，並聽見他妹子利百加的話，說那人對我如此如此說。拉班就跑出來往井旁去，到那人跟前，見他仍站在駱駝旁邊的井旁那裏，

又帶着他在巴旦‧亞蘭所得的一切牲畜和財物，往迦南地、他父親以撒那裏去了。

話還沒有說完，不料，利百加肩頭上扛着水瓶出來。利百加是彼土利所生的；彼土利是亞伯拉罕兄弟拿鶴妻子密迦的兒子。那女子容貌極其俊美，還是處女，也未曾有人親近她。她下到井旁，打滿了瓶，又上來。僕人跑上前去迎着她，說：「求你將瓶裏的水給我一點喝。」女子說：「我主請喝！」就急忙拿下瓶來，托在手上給他喝。女子給他喝了，就說：「我再為你的駱駝打水，叫駱駝也喝足。」她就急忙把瓶裏的水倒在槽裏，又跑到井旁打水，就為所有的駱駝打上水來。那人定睛看她，一句話也不說，要曉得耶和華賜他通達的道路沒有。駱駝喝足了，那人就拿一個金環，重半舍客勒，兩個金鐲，重十舍客勒，給了那女子，說：「請告訴我，你是誰的女兒？你父親家裏有我們住宿的地方沒有？」女子說：「我是密迦與拿鶴之子彼土利的女兒」；

那僕人從他主人的駱駝裏取了十匹駱駝，並帶些他主人各樣的財物，起身往美索不達米亞去，到了拿鶴的城。
