乃懼、曰、此地何其可畏、非他、乃上帝之室、天之門也、○

就惧怕，说：“这地方何等可畏！这不是别的，乃是神的殿，也是天的门。”

就起了敬畏的心、說：『這地方何等可畏啊！這不是別的；這就是上帝的殿！這就是天門！』

乃悚然曰、此非上帝之殿、天之闕乎、敢弗寅畏。

乃惶懼曰、此處何其可畏、此非天主之殿、天之門乎、

He was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

Jacob was afraid. He said,“ How holy this place is! This must be the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

But he was also afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

He was afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

然恐稽延、書此遺爾、俾知當如何行於上帝家、即維生上帝會、真理之柱石、

主之使立其旁、主之榮光環照之、牧者大懼、

蓋時至則鞫自上帝之家始、若自我儕始、彼不服上帝福音者、其終將何如哉、

所立柱石、將為上帝室、凡上帝所錫我者、十輸其一以獻之、

又曰、我乃爾祖父之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、摩西蒙面、不敢視上帝、

詣上帝室、慎爾步履、蓋前而聽、愈於愚人獻祭、以其不知所行乃惡也、

上帝諭雅各曰、昔爾避兄以掃時、我在伯特利顯見於爾、今起往彼而居、為我築壇、雅各命家人與從者曰、當除爾中異邦神像、潔己更衣、昔我遭難、上帝允我之祈、我行於途、上帝偕我、今當赴伯特利、為之築壇、遂以異邦神像、及耳環與之、雅各藏於近乎示劍之橡下、啟行而往、上帝使四周諸邑之民懼甚、無追雅各子者、雅各與從者、至迦南之路斯、即伯特利、昔雅各避兄以掃、上帝顯見、故在彼築壇、名其地曰伊勒伯特利、時、利百加媼底波拉死、葬於伯特利橡下、名其樹曰亞倫巴古、○雅各自巴旦亞蘭歸、上帝與之顯見、錫之以嘏、曰、爾名雅各、今而後不復稱此、當名以色列、遂名之曰以色列、又曰、我乃全能之上帝、爾其蕃息昌熾、一族眾族由爾而生、多王由爾而出、我所賜亞伯拉罕以撒之地、亦將錫爾、爰及苗裔、上帝言竟、離之上升、

語其妻曰、我儕必死、因睹上帝也、

祭司因雲之故、不能侍立奉事、蓋耶和華之榮光充上帝室也、

我見之而仆其足前如死、彼以右手撫我曰、勿懼、

眾出欲觀所為、就耶穌、見諸鬼所由出之人、衣衣自若、坐於耶穌足下、則懼、

且既有大祭司宰上帝家、

門徒聞之、俯伏、懼甚、
