他就惧怕起来，说：“这地方多么可畏啊，这不是别的地方，而是神的殿，是天的门。”

乃悚然曰、此非上帝之殿、天之闕乎、敢弗寅畏。

He was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

Jacob was afraid. He said,“ How holy this place is! This must be the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

But he was also afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

He was afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

假如我来迟了，你也可以知道在神的家里应该怎样行。这家就是永活神的教会、真理的柱石和根基。

主的一位使者站在他们旁边，主的荣光四面照着他们，他们就非常害怕。

因为审判从神的家开始，就在这时候了。如果先从我们起头，那不信从神福音的人，结局将要怎样呢？

我立作石柱的那块石头，必作神的殿；你赐给我的一切，我必把十分之一献给你。”

又说：“我是你父亲的神、亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。”摩西因为怕见神，就把自己的脸蒙住了。

你到神的殿，脚步要谨慎；近前聆听，胜于愚昧人献祭，因为他们不知道所作的是恶的。（本节在《马索拉文本》为4:17）

神对雅各说：“起来，上伯特利去，住在那里；你要在那里筑一座坛给神，就是从前你逃避你哥哥以扫的时候，向你显现的那一位。”雅各就对他的家人，和所有与他在一起的人说：“你们要除去你们中间外族人的神像，你们要洁净自己，更换你们的衣服。我们要起程，上伯特利去；我要在那里给神筑一座祭坛，他就是在我遭患难的时候应允我的呼求，在我所行的路上与我同行的那一位。”他们就把自己手中所有外族人的神像，和自己耳朵上的环子，都交给雅各；雅各把这些东西埋在示剑附近的橡树底下。他们出发了，神使周围的城市都非常惧怕，他们就不追赶雅各的儿子。于是雅各和与他在一起的人，到了迦南地的路斯，就是伯特利。他在那里筑了一座坛，就称那地方为伊勒．伯特利，因为他逃避他哥哥的时候，神曾经在那里向他显现。利百加的乳母底波拉死了，葬在伯特利下边的橡树底下，所以给那棵树起名叫亚伦．巴古。雅各从巴旦．亚兰回来以后，神再次向他显现，赐福给他。神对他说：“你的名原是雅各，但以后不要再叫雅各，以色列才是你的名。”这样，神给他改名叫以色列。神对他说：“我是全能的神，你要繁衍增多，必有一国和众国从你而生，又必有很多君王从你而出。我赐给亚伯拉罕和以撒的地，我要赐给你，我也要把这地赐给你的后裔。”神从与雅各谈话的地方，离开他上升去了。

玛挪亚对他的妻子说：“我们必定要死，因为我们看见了神。”

由于那云彩的缘故，祭司都不能侍立供职，因为神的殿充满了耶和华的荣光。

我看见了他，就仆倒在他脚前，像死了一样。他用右手按着我，说：“不要怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，

众人就出来看发生了什么事。来到耶稣那里，看见鬼已经离开的那人，穿着衣服，神志清醒，坐在耶稣脚前，他们就害怕。

我们既然有一位伟大的祭司治理神的家，

门徒听见了，就俯伏在地上，非常害怕。
