就起了敬畏的心、說：『這地方何等可畏啊！這不是別的；這就是上帝的殿！這就是天門！』

他就害怕起來，說：「這地方真可畏！這裡一定是神的殿，天的門。」

乃懼、曰、此地何其可畏、非他、乃上帝之室、天之門也、○

乃悚然曰、此非上帝之殿、天之闕乎、敢弗寅畏。

乃惶懼曰、此處何其可畏、此非天主之殿、天之門乎、

He was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

Jacob was afraid. He said,“ How holy this place is! This must be the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

But he was also afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

He was afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

這樣，如果我行期延誤，你也可以知道在上帝的家中該怎麼做。這家是永活上帝的教會，是真理的柱石和根基。

忽然，主的天使向他們顯現，主的榮光四面照著他們，他們非常害怕。

因為時候到了，審判要先從上帝的家開始。如果審判要從我們開始，那些不信從上帝福音的人會有怎樣的結局呢？

我立為柱子的這塊石頭必成為上帝的殿。凡你賜給我的，我必把十分之一獻給你。」

又說：「我是你祖先的上帝，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。」摩西害怕看上帝，就把臉蒙起來。

你進入上帝的殿時要小心謹慎，近前傾聽勝過愚人獻祭，因為他們不知道自己是在作惡。

上帝對雅各說：「你到伯特利去住，你要在那裡為上帝築一座壇，祂在你逃避你哥哥以掃時曾向你顯現。」於是，雅各吩咐家人和所有的隨從：「你們要除掉你們當中的外族神像，沐浴更衣，潔淨自己。我們要上伯特利去，在那裡為上帝築一座壇，祂在我遭遇患難時聽了我的禱告，一路都與我同在。」他們把所有外族的神像和自己的耳環都交給雅各，雅各把這些東西埋在示劍的橡樹下。他們就出發了，上帝使恐懼籠罩周圍的城邑，沒有人敢追趕他們。雅各和所有的隨從來到迦南的路斯，也就是伯特利。他在那裡建造了一座壇，稱那地方為伊勒·伯特利，因為在他逃避哥哥的時候，上帝曾在那裡向他顯現。後來利百加的奶媽底波拉死了，葬在伯特利山谷下面的橡樹下，那棵樹叫亞倫·巴古。雅各從巴旦·亞蘭回來後，上帝又向他顯現，賜福給他。上帝對他說：「你叫雅各，但從今以後不要再叫雅各了，你要改名叫以色列。」這樣雅各改名為以色列。上帝又說：「我是全能的上帝，你要生養眾多，一國，甚至多國必從你而出，許多君王必出自你的子孫。我要把賜給亞伯拉罕和以撒的土地賜給你和你的後代。」上帝說完就離開雅各升上天去。

瑪挪亞對妻子說：「我們必死無疑，因為我們看見了上帝。」

以致祭司不能在殿裡供職，因為殿裡充滿了耶和華上帝的榮光。

我一看見祂，便仆倒在祂腳前，像死了一樣。祂把右手按在我身上，說：「不要害怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，

人們出來看個究竟，到了耶穌那裡，發現那曾被鬼附身的人衣著整齊、神智清醒地坐在耶穌腳前，他們都很害怕。

並且，我們有一位大祭司管理上帝的家，

門徒聽見這聲音，便俯伏在地，非常懼怕。
