And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place; and I knew it not.

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”

Jacob woke up from his sleep. Then he thought,“ The Lord is surely in this place. And I didn’t even know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”

And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

And the prince of Jehovah’s host said unto Joshua, Put off thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Who is like unto thee, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?

For God speaketh once, Yea twice, though man regardeth it not.

O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

Jehovah of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: He passeth on also, but I perceive him not.

that Jehovah called Samuel: and he said, Here am I.And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.And Jehovah called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.Now Samuel did not yet know Jehovah, neither was the word of Jehovah yet revealed unto him.
