And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Then the Lord said to Jacob,“ Return to the land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I will be with you.”

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said,“ I will never leave you nor forsake you.”So we can confidently say,“ The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father.

All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you,if you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land that he has given to you.”

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Then Jacob made a vow, saying,“ If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God,

Then Israel said to Joseph,“ Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you again to the land of your fathers.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
