And he said,“ Your brother came deceitfully and has taken away your blessing.”

以撒說：「你弟弟心懷詭計地前來，已經奪取了你的祝福。」

曰、爾弟來、以詭計奪爾之福、

But he said,“ Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”

But Isaac said,“ Your brother came and tricked me. He took your blessing.”

But he said,“ Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing.”

But Isaac said,“ Your brother was here, and he tricked me. He has taken away your blessing.”

But he replied,“ Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”

But he said,“ Your brother came with deceit and has taken away your blessing.”

And he said, Thy brother came with guile, and hath taken away thy blessing.

But he replied,“ Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”

And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.

But Isaac replied,“ Your brother came in here deceitfully and took away your blessing.”

He said,“ Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”

and that no one violate the rights and take advantage of his brother or sister in the matter, because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you previously and solemnly warned you.

Do we not all have one Father? Is it not one God who has created us? Why do we deal treacherously, each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?

But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?And why not say( just as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say),“ Let’s do evil that good may come of it”? Their condemnation is deserved.

Jacob said to his father,“ I am Esau your firstborn; I have done as you told me. Come now, sit and eat of my game, so that you may bless me.”Isaac said to his son,“ How is it that you have it so quickly, my son?” And he said,“ Because the Lord your God made it come to me.”Then Isaac said to Jacob,“ Please come close, so that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.”So Jacob came close to his father Isaac, and he touched him and said,“ The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau’s hands; so he blessed him.

Now, summon to me all the prophets of Baal, all his worshipers and all his priests; let no one go missing, because I have a great sacrifice for Baal; whoever is missing shall not live.” But Jehu did it in deception, in order to eliminate the worshipers of Baal.

Will you speak what is unjust for God, And speak what is deceitful for Him?

But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
