后来想要承受父所祝的福，竟被弃绝，虽然号哭切求，却得不着门路使他父亲的心意回转。这是你们知道的。

所以必吃自结的果子，充满自设的计谋。

我呼唤，你们不肯听从；我伸手，无人理会；反轻弃我一切的劝戒，不肯受我的责备。你们遭灾难，我就发笑；惊恐临到你们，我必嗤笑。惊恐临到你们，好像狂风；灾难来到，如同暴风；急难痛苦临到你们身上。那时，你们必呼求我，我却不答应，恳切地寻找我，却寻不见。

耶稣对众人说：“你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却是不能。及至家主起来关了门，你们站在外面叩门，说：‘主啊，给我们开门！’他就回答说：‘我不认识你们，不晓得你们是哪里来的！’那时，你们要说：‘我们在你面前吃过喝过，你也在我们的街上教训过人。’他要说：‘我告诉你们，我不晓得你们是哪里来的。你们这一切作恶的人，离开我去吧！’你们要看见亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各，和众先知都在神的国里，你们却被赶到外面，在那里必要哀哭切齿了。

人的愚昧倾败他的道；他的心也抱怨耶和华。

大卫和跟随他的人就放声大哭，直哭得没有气力。
