雅各对他父亲说：“我是你的长子以扫，我已照着你吩咐我的去做了。请坐起来，吃我的野味，好为我祝福。”

雅各對他父親說：『我就是你的長子以掃；我已經照你所告訴我的作好了；請起來坐着，喫我打獵所得的肉，好全心全意地給我祝福。

雅各對他父親說：「我是你的長子以掃，我已照著你吩咐我的去做了。請坐起來，吃我的野味，好為我祝福。」

Jacob said to his father,“ I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of my game, so that you may give me your blessing.”

Jacob said to his father,“ I’m your oldest son Esau. I’ve done as you told me. Please sit up. Eat some of my wild meat. Then give me your blessing.”

Jacob said to his father,“ I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me; now sit up and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.”

Jacob replied,“ It’s Esau, your firstborn son. I’ve done as you told me. Here is the wild game. Now sit up and eat it so you can give me your blessing.”

Jacob replied to his father,“ I am Esau, your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of my game so that you may bless me.”

Jacob said to his father,“ I am Esau your firstborn; I have done as you told me. Come now, sit and eat of my game, so that you may bless me.”

Jacob said to his father,“ I am Esau your firstborn; I have done just as you told me; please arise, sit and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.”

And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first- born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Jacob replied to his father,“ I am Esau, your firstborn. I have done as you told me. Please sit up and eat some of my game so that you may bless me.”

And Jacob said unto his father, I[ am] Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

到了晚上，拉班带女儿利亚来送给雅各，雅各就与她同房。拉班也把自己的婢女悉帕给女儿利亚作婢女。到了早晨，看哪，她是利亚，雅各对拉班说：“你向我做的是什么事呢？我服事你，不是为拉结吗？你为什么欺骗我呢？”

以撒对雅各说：“我儿，靠近一点，让我摸摸你，你真的是我的儿子以扫吗？”

先出生的身体带红，浑身有毛，好像皮衣；他们就给他起名叫以扫。

耶罗波安对他的妻子说：“你起来改装，使人认不出你是耶罗波安的妻子。你往示罗去，看哪，那里有先知亚希雅，他曾告诉我说，你必作这百姓的王。

彼得在众人面前却不承认，说：“我不知道你说的是什么！”他出去，到了门口，又有一个使女看见他，就对那里的人说：“这个人是同拿撒勒人耶稣一起的。”彼得又不承认，起誓说：“我不认得那个人。”过了不久，旁边站着的人进前来，对彼得说：“你的确是他们一伙的，你的口音把你显露出来了。”彼得就赌咒发誓说：“我不认得那个人。”立刻鸡就叫了。

你们曾说：“我们已与死亡立约，与阴间结盟，不可挡的鞭子挥过时，必不临到我们；因我们以谎言为避难所，靠虚假来藏身”；

若还有人说预言，生他的父母必对他说：‘你不得存活，因为你假借耶和华的名说谎话。’生他的父母在他说预言时，要将他刺死。那日，凡作先知说预言的必因所论的异象羞愧，不再穿毛皮外袍哄骗人。

照我所爱的做成美味，拿来给我吃，好让我在未死之前为你祝福。”

以撒说：“你真的是我儿子以扫吗？”他说：“我是。”以撒说：“拿给我，让我吃我儿子的野味，我好为你祝福。”雅各拿给他，他就吃了，又拿酒给他，他也喝了。

老先知对他说：“我也是先知，和你一样。有天使遵照耶和华的话对我说：‘你去带他一同回你的家，给他吃饭喝水。’”老先知在欺骗他。
