曰、耶和華云、爾既行是、不惜獨生之子、我則指己而誓、必錫爾嘏、昌熾爾裔、如天上之星、如海濱之沙、爾裔必據諸敵之邑、緣爾遵我命、天下萬民、將因爾裔而獲福、

即與亞伯拉罕所立之約、對以撒所發之誓、

以信而旅於所許之地、如在異地、偕共承上帝所許之以撒雅各居於幕、

爾起遍歷斯土、縱橫而行、我必以之賜爾、

此皆有信而死、未得所許、惟遙望而迎之、自謂在世為賓旅、為寄寓者、夫如是言者、明表其尋求家鄉也、若念所出之地、必有機可歸、惟其所慕者尤善、即在天者、故上帝不恥稱為彼之上帝、蓋曾為之備邑焉、○

耶和華諭亞伯蘭曰、爾其出故土、離戚族、遠父家、往我所示之地、我將使爾成為大邦、錫嘏於爾、丕顯爾名、爾為福源、

勿因作惡者生煩擾、勿因為非者懷妒嫉、彼如草芥、速被芟除、猶之青蔬、不久萎敗兮、當賴耶和華而行善、居於斯土、以其信實為食兮、以耶和華為悅、爾心所欲、彼必賜之兮、以爾行徑託耶和華、惟彼是賴、則必成之兮、著爾之義、如光發耀、顯爾之公、如日方中兮、

牛羊成羣、僕從甚眾、非利士人妒之、

爾今所旅之地、即迦南全境、我將賜爾、及爾苗裔、以為永業、我亦為其上帝、○

上帝欲於將承所許者、益彰其旨之不易、故實之以誓、

我將訓爾、示爾當由之路、我目注爾、而勸戒兮、

約瑟居其主埃及人家、耶和華偕之、所為暢遂、

耶和華歟、俯聞我祈求、垂聽我呼籲、我既泣涕、爾勿緘默、我於爾前、為外人、為客旅、有如列祖兮、

必依古昔與我列祖所誓之言、施誠實於雅各、行仁慈於亞伯拉罕、

耶和華偕之、施以慈惠、令沾恩於司獄、

以撒耕稼於斯、是年獲有百倍、耶和華錫之嘏、

爾涉於水、我必與俱、憑河不至淹沒、經火不致焚燬、其燄不爇爾身、

爾所學所受、所聞所見於我者、皆宜行之、則平康之上帝將偕爾、○

勿懼、我偕爾、必自東方攜爾之裔、自西方集爾之眾、
