They answered,“ We saw clearly that the Lord was with you; so we said,‘ There ought to be a sworn agreement between us’— between us and you. Let us make a treaty with you

They said,“ We see plainly that the Lord has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you,

They replied,“ We can plainly see that the Lord is with you. So we want to enter into a sworn treaty with you. Let’s make a covenant.

They replied,“ We have clearly seen how the LORD has been with you. We think there should be an oath between two parties— between us and you. Let us make a covenant with you:

They said,“ We have seen plainly that the Lord has been with you; so we said,‘ An oath must now be taken by us,’ that is, by you and us. So let us make a covenant with you,

But they said,“ We have certainly seen that the Lord is with you. So we said,‘ Let there now be an oath between us, between you and us; and let us make a covenant with you,

And they said, We saw plainly that Jehovah was with thee: and we said, Let there now be an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee,

They replied,“ We have clearly seen how the Lord has been with you. We think there should be an oath between two parties— between us and you. Let us make a covenant with you:

And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us,[ even] betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;

They replied,“ We could plainly see that the LORD is with you. So we decided there should be a pact between us– between us and you. Allow us to make a treaty with you

They said,“ We saw plainly that Yahweh was with you. We said,‘ Let there now be an oath between us, even between us and you, and let’s make a covenant with you,

那时，亚比米勒和他的军长非各对亚伯拉罕说：“在你所作的一切事上，神都与你同在。现在你要在这里指着神对我起誓，你不会以诡诈待我和我的子子孙孙。我怎样恩待了你，你也要怎样恩待我和你寄居的地方。”

耶和华这样说：“埃及劳碌得来的和古实所得之利，以及身量高大的西巴人，都必过来归你，也要属你；他们必带着锁链过来随从你，向你俯伏，向你恳求，说：‘神真的在你们中间，此外，再没有别的神，没有别的真神。’”

又名叫米斯巴，因为拉班说：“我们彼此分离以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。你若苦待我的女儿，或在我的女儿以外，另娶妻子，虽然没有人在我们中间作证，但你要注意，神就是你我之间的见证人。”拉班又对雅各说：“你看这堆石头，看我在你我之间所竖立的石柱。这堆石头就是证据，这石柱也是证据：我决不越过这石堆到你那里去，你也决不可越过这石堆和石柱，到我这里来害我。但愿亚伯拉罕的神、拿鹤的神，就是他们父亲的神，在我们中间判断。”雅各就指着他父亲以撒所敬畏的神起誓。

我要你指着耶和华天地的神起誓，不可从我现在居住的迦南人中，为我的儿子娶他们的女子为妻。

既是这样，我们对这一切还有什么话说呢？神若这样为我们，谁能敌对我们呢？

因为人起誓都是指着比自己大的起誓。这誓言就了结了他们中间的一切纠纷，作为保证。

大卫的儿子所罗门巩固了他对以色列的统治，耶和华他的神也和他同在，使他十分尊大。

至于你们，却要称为耶和华的祭司，人必称你们为我们神的仆人；你们要享用列国的财富，因得着他们的荣耀而夸耀。

只要你到了我的族人那里去，我叫你起的誓就与你无关；他们若不把女子交给你，我叫你起的誓也与你无关。’

他们的后裔必在列国中被人认识，他们的子孙在万民中也必这样；看见他们的，都必承认他们是耶和华赐福的后裔。

那些素来苦待你的人，他们的子孙都必屈身来到你那里；所有藐视你的，都要在你的脚下跪拜；他们要称你为耶和华的城、以色列圣者的锡安。

耶和华对约书亚说：“今天起，我要使你在以色列众人眼中成为尊大，这样他们就知道我怎样与摩西同在，也必照样与你同在。

自从主人指派约瑟管理他的家，和他所有的一切，耶和华就因约瑟的缘故，赐福给那埃及人的家。他家里和田间所有的一切，都蒙耶和华赐福。

你们为人不要贪爱钱财，要以现在所有的为满足；因为神亲自说过：“我决不撇下你，也不离弃你。”

他心里隐秘的事被显露出来，他就必俯伏敬拜神，宣告说：“神真的是在你们中间了。”

因此那地方名叫别是巴，因为他们二人在那里起了誓。他们在别是巴立约以后，亚比米勒和他的军长非各，就起程回非利士地去了。
