That night the Lord appeared to him and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”

那天夜里，耶和华向他显现，说：“我是你父亲亚伯拉罕的神；你不要害怕，因为我与你同在。我要因我仆人亚伯拉罕的缘故祝福你，并使你的后裔增多。”

那一夜裏、永恆主向他顯現說：『我是你父親亞伯拉罕的上帝；你不要怕，因為是我與你同在；我必賜福與你，使你的後裔增多，都是為了我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故。』

那天夜裡，耶和華向他顯現，說：「我是你父親亞伯拉罕的神；你不要害怕，因為我與你同在。我要因我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故祝福你，並使你的後裔增多。」

是夜耶和華顯現、謂之曰、勿懼、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之上帝、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必佑爾、錫嘏於爾、蕃衍爾苗裔。

是夜、主顯現諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之天主、毋懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、

That night the Lord appeared to him. He said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid. I am with you. I will bless you. I will increase the number of your children because of my servant Abraham.”

And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

where the Lord appeared to him on the night of his arrival.“ I am the God of your father, Abraham,” he said.“ Do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you. I will multiply your descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will do this because of my promise to Abraham, my servant.”

and the LORD appeared to him that night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your offspring because of my servant Abraham.”

And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham; Do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants, For the sake of My servant Abraham.”

And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”

And Jehovah appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.

and the Lord appeared to him that night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your offspring because of My servant Abraham.”

And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I[ am] the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I[ am] with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.

The LORD appeared to him that night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”

Yahweh appeared to him the same night, and said,“ I am the God of Abraham your father. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you, and will bless you, and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

Then he said,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:“ Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”

I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Then he prayed,“ Lord, God of my master Abraham, make me successful today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said:“ Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

There above it stood the Lord, and he said:“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.

I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted.

This is what the Lord says— he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.“ See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

“ Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

“ Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have taken my instruction to heart: Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals or be terrified by their insults.

He said to them,“ I see that your father’s attitude toward me is not what it was before, but the God of my father has been with me.

So we say with confidence,“ The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

“ I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass,

Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.

‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

The Lord appeared to Isaac and said,“ Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live.Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,
