And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham; Do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants, For the sake of My servant Abraham.”

是夜、主顯現諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之天主、毋懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、

That night the Lord appeared to him and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”

That night the Lord appeared to him. He said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid. I am with you. I will bless you. I will increase the number of your children because of my servant Abraham.”

And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said,“ I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

where the Lord appeared to him on the night of his arrival.“ I am the God of your father, Abraham,” he said.“ Do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you. I will multiply your descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will do this because of my promise to Abraham, my servant.”

And Jehovah appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.

The LORD appeared to him that night and said,“ I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”

Yahweh appeared to him the same night, and said,“ I am the God of Abraham your father. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you, and will bless you, and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

And He said,“ I am the God of your father— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great.”

I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.

‘ I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses shook with fear and did not dare to look closely.

But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

And he said,“ Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread?When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying,“ Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last,

Then behold, the Lord was standing above it and said,“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants.

I will make your descendants as plentiful as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can count the dust of the earth, then your descendants could also be counted.

This is what the Lord says, He who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you:‘ Do not fear, Jacob My servant, And Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

God is our refuge and strength, A very ready help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes And the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you,‘ Do not fear, I will help you.’Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord,“ and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.Behold, I turned you into a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges; You will thresh the mountains and pulverize them, And make the hills like chaff.

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.

Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, A people in whose heart is My Law; Do not fear the taunting of people, Nor be terrified of their abuses.

and said to them,“ I see your father’s attitude, that it is not friendly toward me as it was before, but the God of my father has been with me.

so that we confidently say,“ The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”

“ I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass,

So Abraham returned to his young men, and they got up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived in Beersheba.

‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

And the Lord appeared to him and said,“ Do not go down to Egypt; stay in the land of which I shall tell you.Live for a time in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
