在其田之一隅、名麥比拉有穴焉、請足其金數售之、為我塚地。以弗崙赫人也、於邑民及入是邑者前、對亞伯拉罕曰、主歟、尚其垂聽、我以田及田內之穴錫爾、汝可葬其死者邑眾為證。亞伯拉罕鞠躬於民前、謂以弗崙曰、請聽吾言、我將以金購田、爾可受之、使死者得葬。民皆聞之。○以弗崙曰、主歟、尚其俯聽、價約二百金、爾與我豈有所較、請葬乎死者。亞伯拉罕從其言、以商賈素用之金二百、如數以與。赫人為證。○如是以弗崙田在麥比拉、與慢哩相對、田之穴、暨田中四圍群樹、俱定與亞伯拉罕為業、邑中人、與凡入邑者為證。厥後亞伯拉罕葬其妻撒拉、在迦南地、慢哩相對麥比拉田之穴。慢哩即希伯崙也。田及田穴、赫人定之、與亞伯拉罕為塚地。
