誰知，人倒歡喜快樂，宰牛殺羊，吃肉喝酒，說：我們吃喝吧！因為明天要死了。

我就稱讚快樂，原來人在日光之下，莫強如吃喝快樂；因為他在日光之下，神賜他一生的年日，要從勞碌中，時常享受所得的。

耶和華吩咐我說：「要把眾人所估定美好的價值丟給窰戶。」我便將這三十塊錢，在耶和華的殿中丟給窰戶了。

主說：你們這輕慢的人要觀看，要驚奇，要滅亡；因為在你們的時候，我行一件事，雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。」

恐怕有淫亂的，有貪戀世俗如以掃的，他因一點食物把自己長子的名分賣了。後來想要承受父所祝的福，竟被棄絕，雖然號哭切求，卻得不着門路使他父親的心意回轉。這是你們知道的。

他們又藐視那美地，不信他的話，

說：「我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？」他們就給了他三十塊錢。

因為有許多人行事是基督十字架的仇敵。我屢次告訴你們，現在又流淚地告訴你們：他們的結局就是沉淪；他們的神就是自己的肚腹。他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，專以地上的事為念。

我若當日像尋常人，在以弗所同野獸戰鬥，那於我有甚麼益處呢？若死人不復活，我們就吃吃喝喝吧！因為明天要死了。
