众人一口同音地推辞。头一个说：‘我买了一块地，必须去看看。请你准我辞了。’又有一个说：‘我买了五对牛，要去试一试。请你准我辞了。’又有一个说：‘我才娶了妻，所以不能去。’

谁知，人倒欢喜快乐，宰牛杀羊，吃肉喝酒，说：“我们吃喝吧！因为明天要死了。”

我就称赞快乐，原来人在日光之下，莫强如吃喝快乐；因为他在日光之下，神赐他一生的年日，要从劳碌中，时常享受所得的。

耶和华吩咐我说：“要把众人所估定美好的价值丢给窑户。”我便将这三十块钱，在耶和华的殿中丢给窑户了。

主说：‘你们这轻慢的人要观看，要惊奇，要灭亡；因为在你们的时候，我行一件事，虽有人告诉你们，你们总是不信。’”

恐怕有淫乱的，有贪恋世俗如以扫的，他因一点食物把自己长子的名分卖了。后来想要承受父所祝的福，竟被弃绝，虽然号哭切求，却得不着门路使他父亲的心意回转。这是你们知道的。

他们又藐视那美地，不信他的话，

说：“我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我多少钱？”他们就给了他三十块钱。

因为有许多人行事是基督十字架的仇敌。我屡次告诉你们，现在又流泪地告诉你们：他们的结局就是沉沦；他们的神就是自己的肚腹。他们以自己的羞辱为荣耀，专以地上的事为念。

我若当日像寻常人，在以弗所同野兽战斗，那于我有什么益处呢？若死人不复活，我们就吃吃喝喝吧！因为明天要死了。

那些人不理就走了；一个到自己田里去；一个做买卖去；
