這八個人都是密迦給亞伯拉罕的兄弟生的。

以撒就領利伯加進了帳棚，娶了她，她就成了以撒的妻子；以撒愛利伯加；自從他母親去世以後，他這才得了安慰。

你要在永恆主你的上帝面前應聲地說：「我的祖宗原是個飄泊流亡的亞蘭人；他下到埃及，寄居在那裏，人數稀少；在那裏竟成了一國，又大又強盛，人數又多。

夜間，上帝到亞蘭人拉班夢中來找他，對他說：『你要小心，不可和雅各說好說歹。』

又趕着他一切的牲畜、他所積蓄的一切活財物、他所得的牲畜，就是他在巴旦亞蘭所積蓄的，要往迦南地、他父親以撒那裏去。

雅各也竊奪了亞蘭人拉班的心機：他沒告訴他就逃走了。

以撒打發雅各走了，雅各就往巴旦亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏：拉班是雅各、以掃的母親利伯加的哥哥。以掃見以撒已經給雅各祝福，又打發他往巴旦亞蘭去、從那裏娶妻，並且給他祝福時吩咐他說：『不要娶迦南的女子為妻』；

雅各從巴旦亞蘭回來，上帝又向他顯現，給他祝福，

當神言人以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多患痲瘋屬之病的；而其中、除了敍利亞的乃縵、沒有一個得潔淨的。』
