But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream by night and said to him,“ Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”

He drove away all his livestock, all his property that he had gained, the livestock in his possession that he had acquired in Paddan-aram, to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac.

And Jacob tricked Laban the Aramean, by not telling him that he intended to flee.

Thus Isaac sent Jacob away. And he went to Paddan-aram, to Laban, the son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram to take a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he directed him,“ You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women,”

God appeared to Jacob again, when he came from Paddan-aram, and blessed him.

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”
