僕人說：「耶和華既賜給我通達的道路，你們不要躭誤我，請打發我走，回我主人那裏去吧。」

於是他們打發妹子利百加和她的乳母，同亞伯拉罕的僕人，並跟從僕人的，都走了。

於是約瑟打發他弟兄們回去，又對他們說：「你們不要在路上相爭。」

撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯說：「容我跑去，將耶和華向仇敵給王報仇的信息報與王知。」

不要說：先前的日子強過如今的日子，是甚麼緣故呢？你這樣問，不是出於智慧。

以撒打發雅各走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏。拉班是雅各、以掃的母舅。以掃見以撒已經給雅各祝福，而且打發他往巴旦‧亞蘭去，在那裏娶妻，並見祝福的時候囑咐他說：「不要娶迦南的女子為妻」，

你看見辦事殷勤的人嗎？他必站在君王面前，必不站在下賤人面前。

守望的人說：「我看前頭人的跑法，好像撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯的跑法一樣。」王說：「他是個好人，必是報好信息。」亞希瑪斯向王呼叫說：「平安了！」就在王面前臉伏於地叩拜，說：「耶和華－你的神是應當稱頌的，因他已將那舉手攻擊我主我王的人交給王了。」

鬼所離開的那人懇求和耶穌同在；耶穌卻打發他回去，說：「你回家去，傳說神為你做了何等大的事。」他就去，滿城裏傳揚耶穌為他做了何等大的事。
