仆人说：“耶和华既赐给我通达的道路，你们不要耽误我，请打发我走，回我主人那里去吧。”

于是他们打发妹子利百加和她的乳母，同亚伯拉罕的仆人，并跟从仆人的，都走了。

于是约瑟打发他弟兄们回去，又对他们说：“你们不要在路上相争。”

撒督的儿子亚希玛斯说：“容我跑去，将耶和华向仇敌给王报仇的信息报与王知。”

不要说：先前的日子强过如今的日子，是什么缘故呢？你这样问，不是出于智慧。

以撒打发雅各走了，他就往巴旦亚兰去，到亚兰人彼土利的儿子拉班那里。拉班是雅各、以扫的母舅。以扫见以撒已经给雅各祝福，而且打发他往巴旦亚兰去，在那里娶妻，并见祝福的时候嘱咐他说：“不要娶迦南的女子为妻”，

你看见办事殷勤的人吗？他必站在君王面前，必不站在下贱人面前。

守望的人说：“我看前头人的跑法，好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法一样。”王说：“他是个好人，必是报好信息。”亚希玛斯向王呼叫说：“平安了！”就在王面前脸伏于地叩拜，说：“耶和华你的神是应当称颂的，因他已将那举手攻击我主我王的人交给王了。”

鬼所离开的那人恳求和耶稣同在；耶稣却打发他回去，说：“你回家去，传说神为你做了何等大的事。”他就去，满城里传扬耶稣为他做了何等大的事。
