Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said,“ The thing has come from the Lord; we cannot speak to you bad or good.

Then Laban and Bethuel replied,“ The Lord has obviously brought you here, so there is nothing we can say.

我的手本有能力害你，只是你父亲的上帝昨夜对我说：‘你要小心，不可对雅各说好说歹。’

押沙龙却不和暗嫩说好说歹；因为暗嫩玷辱他妹妹她玛，所以押沙龙恨恶他。

他们就为利百加祝福，对她说：“我们的妹妹啊，愿你作千万人的母亲！愿你的后裔得着仇敌的城门！”

仆人拿出金器、银器和衣服送给利百加，又将贵重的物品送给她哥哥和她母亲。

既然上帝给他们恩赐，像在我们信主耶稣基督的时候给了我们一样，我是谁，能拦阻上帝吗？”

利百加的哥哥和母亲说：“让她同我们再住几天，也许十天，然后她可以去。”

耶稣对他们说：“‘匠人所丢弃的石头已作了房角的头块石头。这是主所做的，在我们眼中看为奇妙。’这段经文你们从来没有念过吗？

话还没说完，看哪，利百加肩头上扛着水瓶出来。利百加是彼土利所生的；彼土利是亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤妻子密迦的儿子。

那少女跑去，把这些话告诉她母亲家里的人。
