老总管听了，就俯伏敬拜耶和华，说：“我主人亚伯拉罕的上帝耶和华当受称颂，因为祂一直以慈爱和信实对待我的主人，引导我一路走到我主人兄弟的家里。”

因为上帝永永远远是我们的上帝，祂必引领我们，直到我们离世之日。

亚伯拉罕的仆人听见这话，就俯伏在地上敬拜耶和华，

你的救赎主耶和华——以色列的圣者说：“我是你的上帝耶和华，我为了使你受益而教导你，我引导你走当行的路。

耶和华说：“我要教导你，引领你走正路；我要劝导你，看顾你。

你要全心信靠耶和华，不可倚靠自己的悟性。凡事都要寻求祂，祂必指引你走正路。

密迦为亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤生了八个儿子。

带领他们走直路，到可居住的城邑。

又要教导他们律例和法度，指示他们当行的道、当做的事。

我已经指示你走智慧之道，引导你行正确的路。

然后，我在亚哈瓦河边宣布禁食，为要在我们的上帝面前谦卑下来，祈求祂保护我们、我们的儿女及财物一路平安。
