在你开始恳求的时候，就有命令发出，于是我来告诉你，因为你是蒙爱的；你当领悟这话语，要领悟这异象！

“不断祈求吧，就会给你们；不断寻找吧，就会找到；不断敲门吧，就会为你们开门。

那时，他们还没有呼求，我就回应；他们还在说话，我就垂听。

话还没说完，看哪，莉白加肩上扛着罐子就来了！莉白加是彼土利所生的，彼土利是亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤和妻子美尔迦的儿子。那少女容貌极其美丽，是个处女，没有男人与她同寝过。她下到水泉那里，把罐子打满了水，然后上来。那仆人迎着她跑去，说：“请你让我喝一点你罐子里的水。”她说：“我主，请喝吧。”然后急忙拿下罐子，托在自己手上给他喝。那少女给他喝够了以后，又说：“我也为你的骆驼打水，直到它们喝够了。”她急忙把罐子的水都倒入水槽，再跑到井那里去打水，为那人所有的骆驼打了水。

哥尼流说：“四天前的这个时候，下午三点，我在家里祷告。忽然有一个身穿明亮衣服的人，站在我面前，

他明白之后，就到约翰的母亲玛丽亚家去，这约翰又叫马可。有许多人聚集在那里祷告。彼得敲了外面的门，一个叫罗妲的女仆前来应门。她一认出是彼得的声音，就高兴得顾不上打开门，跑进去告诉大家说，彼得站在门外。他们对罗妲说：“你疯了！”可是她坚持就是如此。他们不住地说：“那是他的天使。”这时，彼得不停地敲门。他们就打开了门，看见是他，都十分惊讶。彼得挥一下手叫他们安静，告诉他们主怎样领他出了监狱，又说：“你们把这些事告诉雅各和弟兄们。”然后他就出发，往别的地方去了。

原来哈娜心里说话，只有嘴唇在动，却听不到声音，因此以利以为她喝醉了。以利就对她说：“你要醉到什么时候呢？不要再喝酒了！”哈娜回答说：“我主啊，不是这样的，我是个心灵苦痛的妇人。淡酒和烈酒，我都没有喝；我是在耶和华面前倾心吐意。

他们听了，就同心合意地高声向神说：“主啊，你是造了天、地、海和其中万有的那一位。你曾经藉着圣灵，用你的仆人——我们先祖大卫的口说：‘列国为什么狂怒骚乱，众民为什么图谋虚空？地上的众君王都起来，首领们也聚集在一起，抵挡主和他的基督。’“事实上，希律和本丢彼拉多，与外邦人和以色列子民果然在这城里一同聚集，对付你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，做成了你手和你计划所预定要成就的一切事。主啊，现在求你鉴察他们的威吓，使你的奴仆们能满有胆量地传讲你的话语。求你伸出你的手，藉着你圣仆耶稣的名，使疾病痊愈，施行神迹和奇事。”他们祷告完了，聚集的地方就被震动，大家都被圣灵充满，就坦然无惧地传讲神的话语。于是那一群信徒都同心合意，没有一个人说他所拥有的哪样东西是自己的；相反，他们凡物共有。使徒们大有能力地为主耶稣的复活做见证，并且在他们每个人身上都有极大的恩典。

况且，圣灵也照样扶助我们的软弱。事实上，我们不知道该祷告什么、如何祷告，但圣灵却亲自用说不出的叹息，为我们代求。

主啊，求你垂听！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你留心听并且行动！我的神哪，为你自己的缘故，求你不要迟延，因为你的城和你的子民都是被称为你名下的。”

那时你呼求，耶和华必回应；你呼救，他必说：‘我在这里。’如果你除去你当中的轭，除去对人的指摘和恶毒的言谈；
