你開始懇求的時候，就有命令發出。因為你是大蒙眷愛的，所以我來告訴你；你要留意這信息，明白這異象。

“你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。

那時，他們還未呼求，我就應允，他們還在說話，我就垂聽。

話還沒有說完，不料，利百加肩頭上扛著水瓶出來了。利百加是彼土利所生的。彼土利是亞伯拉罕兄弟拿鶴的妻子密迦的兒子。那少女容貌非常美麗，還是個處女，沒有男人親近過她。她下到水泉那裡，打滿了水瓶，又上來。僕人就跑去迎著她，說：“請你把瓶裡的水給我喝一點。”那少女回答：“我主請喝。”就急忙把水瓶拿下來，托在手上給他喝。他喝足了，少女就說：“我也要為你的駱駝打水，直到牠們都喝足了。”於是急忙把水瓶裡的水倒在槽裡，又跑到井旁去打水，給他所有的駱駝打上水來。

哥尼流說：“四天以前下午三點鐘，我在家裡禱告的時候，忽然有一位身穿光明衣服的人，站在我面前，

他明白了之後，就到約翰（別名馬可）的母親馬利亞家裡去；有許多人聚集在那裡禱告。彼得敲了大門，有一個名叫羅大的使女，出來應門。她認出是彼得的聲音，歡喜到顧不得開門，就跑進去報告，說彼得站在門外。大家說：“你瘋了！”她卻堅持地說這是真的。他們說：“一定是他的天使。”彼得繼續敲門；他們打開了，一見是他，就非常驚訝。彼得作了一個手勢，要他們安靜，然後對他們述說主怎樣領他出監，又說：“你們把這些事告訴雅各和眾弟兄。”就離開那裡，到別的地方去了。

原來哈拿是在心中訴說，只見她的嘴唇在動，卻聽不見她的聲音，因此以利以為她是個喝醉了的女人。以利就對她說：“你要醉到幾時呢？快快醒過來吧！”哈拿回答：“我主啊，不是的。我是個心靈愁苦的婦人，淡酒烈酒都沒有喝，只不過在耶和華面前傾吐我的心意。

他們聽了，就同心向神高聲說：“主啊，你是那創造天地、海洋和其中萬物的主宰。你曾以聖靈藉著你僕人我們祖先大衛的口說：‘列國為甚麼騷動？萬民為甚麼空謀妄想？地上的君王都起來，首領聚在一起，敵對主和他的受膏者。’希律和本丟．彼拉多，外族人和以色列民，真的在這城裡聚集，反對你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，行了你手和你旨意所預定要成就的一切。主啊，他們恐嚇我們，現在求你鑒察，也賜你僕人們大有膽量，傳講你的道。求你伸手醫治，藉著你聖僕耶穌的名，大行神蹟奇事。”他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動起來，他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講神的道。全體信徒一心一意，沒有一個人說自己的財物是自己的，他們凡物公用。使徒大有能力，為主耶穌的復活作見證，眾人都蒙了大恩。

照樣，聖靈也在我們的軟弱上幫助我們。原來我們不曉得應當怎樣禱告，但聖靈親自用不可言喻的歎息，替我們祈求。

主啊！求你垂聽。主啊！求你赦免。主啊！求你應允而行。我的神啊！為了你自己的緣故，求你不要耽延。因為你的城和你的子民都是稱為你名下的。”

那時，你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：“我在這裡！”你若從你中間除掉欺壓人的軛，除去指責人的指頭和惡毒的言語，

萬軍之耶和華以色列的神啊！因為你曾啟示你的僕人說：‘我要為你建立家室。’所以你的僕人才敢來向你作這樣的禱告。

王問我：“你想要甚麼呢？”我就向天上的神禱告，
