他就说：‘我所事奉的耶和华必要差遣他的使者与你同去，使你的道路亨通，你就可以在我父家、我本族那里，为我的儿子娶妻。

“ He replied,‘ The Lord, before whom I have walked faithfully, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father’s family.

耶和华——天上的神对我说话，又向我起誓说：‘我必把这地赐给你的后裔’；他曾带我离开父家和本族之地。现在他必派遣使者在你前面，你就得以从那里为我的儿子娶妻。

以诺生了玛土撒拉之后，与神同行三百年，并且生了其他的儿女。

他像一棵树，栽种在溪水旁，他的果实按时结出，他的叶子也不凋零，凡他所做的都会兴盛。

我总是以耶和华为念；因为他在我的右边，我就不致动摇。

亚伯兰九十九岁时，耶和华向亚伯兰显现，对他说：“我是全能的神，你当行在我面前，作纯全人。

因为他会为你吩咐他的天使们，在你一切的道路上保守你；

“我耶稣，派遣了我的使者，为各教会向你们见证了这些事。我就是大卫的根，也是他的后裔，那明亮的晨星。”

尼布甲尼撒就开口说：“沙德拉克、米沙克、亚伯尼哥的神是当受颂赞的！他派遣他的使者拯救了他的仆人们；他们信靠神，违抗王的命令，甚至舍弃己身，除了自己的神以外，不事奉、不膜拜任何其他神明。

以诺与神同行；后来他不在地上了，因为神把他接去。

我约翰，是听见又看见这些事的人。我听见又看见了以后，就俯伏在那位指示我这些事的天使脚前，要敬拜他。

难道所有的天使不都是服事的灵、奉差派服事那些将要继承救恩的人吗？

以色列祝福约瑟说：“愿我祖父亚伯拉罕和我父以撒所跟随的神，就是牧养我一生直到今日的神，

以下是挪亚的谱系：挪亚是个义人，在他的世代中是个纯全人；挪亚与神同行。
