他回答：‘我行事为人都在他面前的耶和华，必差派他的使者与你同去，使你的道路亨通，你就可以从我的族人和我的父家，给我的儿子娶一个妻子。

“ He replied,‘ The Lord, before whom I have walked faithfully, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father’s family.

He responded,‘ The Lord, in whose presence I have lived, will send his angel with you and will make your mission successful. Yes, you must find a wife for my son from among my relatives, from my father’s family.

He said to me,‘ The LORD before whom I have walked will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, and you will take a wife for my son from my clan and from my father’s family.

And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house:

He answered,‘ The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with you. He will make your journey a success and you will find a wife for my son from among my relatives, from my father’s family.

He said to me,‘ Yahweh, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way. You shall take a wife for my son from my relatives, and of my father’s house.

“看啊，我要差遣天使走在你前面，在路上保护你，带领你平安地到达我为你预备的地方。

因为带领我离开父家和本乡的耶和华——天上的主，曾经向我说话，起誓应许把这片土地赐给我的后代。祂必派天使在你前面引路，帮助你在那里为我儿子找到妻子。

之后与上帝亲密同行三百年，生儿育女，

他就像溪水旁的树木——按时结果子，叶子也不凋零。他必凡事亨通。

我常以耶和华为念，祂在我右边，我必不动摇。

亚伯兰九十九岁那年，耶和华向他显现说：“我是全能的上帝。你要遵行我的旨意，做纯全无过的人。

因为祂必命令祂的天使随时随地保护你。

我必差遣天使走在你们前面，赶出当地的迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人，

我耶稣差遣我的天使到众教会，向你们证明这些事。我是大卫的根，也是大卫的后裔，又是明亮的晨星。”

尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的上帝当受称颂！祂差遣天使拯救那些信靠祂的仆人。他们无视王命，宁肯死也不供奉、祭拜其他神明。

以诺与上帝亲密同行，后来被上帝接去，不在世上了。

“耶和华啊，求你顾念我怎样全心、忠诚地事奉你，做你视为善的事。”希西迦痛哭起来。

以上都是我约翰亲眼看见、亲耳听见的事。当我听见、看见这些事后，就俯伏敬拜将这一切指示给我的天使。

祷告说：“以色列的上帝耶和华啊，天上地下没有神明可以与你相比！你向尽心遵行你旨意的仆人守约，施慈爱。

天使岂不都是服役的灵吗？他们奉差遣，岂不是去为那些将要承受救恩的人服务吗？

他祝福约瑟说：“愿我祖先亚伯拉罕和以撒敬拜的上帝，牧养我一生直到今天的上帝，

你要遵从你的上帝耶和华的话，遵行祂的道，照摩西的律法遵守上帝的律例、诫命、典章和法度。这样，你无论做什么、去哪里都必亨通，

以下是有关挪亚的记载。挪亚是个义人，在当时的世代是个纯全无过的人，他与上帝同行。
