主人令我誓云、毋為我子娶我所居迦南地之女為妻、或作我居迦南地毋為我子娶其地之女為妻

And my master made me swear an oath, and said,‘ You must not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live,

My master made me promise him. He said,‘ I’m living in the land of the people of Canaan. But promise me that you won’t get a wife for my son from their daughters.

My master made me swear, saying,‘ You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell,

And my master made me take an oath. He said,‘ Do not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite women.

My master put me under this oath:‘ You will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites in whose land I live

My master made me swear, saying,‘ You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live;

Now my master made me swear, saying,‘ You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell;

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell:

My master put me under this oath:‘ You will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites in whose land I live

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell:

My master made me swear an oath. He said,‘ You must not acquire a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,

Now when these things were done, the princes came near to me, saying,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, following their abominations, even those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy offspring have mixed themselves with the peoples of the lands. Yes, the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this trespass.”When I heard this thing, I tore my garment and my robe, and pulled the hair out of my head and of my beard, and sat down confounded.

Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, who ruled over all that he had,“ Please put your hand under my thigh.I will make you swear by Yahweh, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live.But you shall go to my country, and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”The servant said to him,“ What if the woman isn’t willing to follow me to this land? Must I bring your son again to the land you came from?”Abraham said to him,“ Beware that you don’t bring my son there again.Yahweh, the God of heaven— who took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my birth, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying,‘ I will give this land to your offspring— he will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.If the woman isn’t willing to follow you, then you shall be clear from this oath to me. Only you shall not bring my son there again.”The servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter.

Rebekah said to Isaac,“ I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good will my life do me?”

God’s sons saw that men’s daughters were beautiful, and they took any that they wanted for themselves as wives.
