亞伯拉罕老邁，上了年紀；在一切事上、永恆主都賜福與亞伯拉罕。

亞伯蘭有牲畜金銀極多。

『我必使你成為大國；我必給你祝福，使你的名尊大；成為祝福的口頭語：

他的牲畜有羊七千隻、駱駝三千隻，牛五百對、母驢五百匹；他還有很多僕婢；這人在東方人之中至為昌大。

亞伯拉罕死了以後，上帝賜福與他的兒子以撒，以撒靠近庇耳拉海萊住下。

你將你的拯救給我做盾牌；你的右手支持了我；你的「靈應」使我昌大。

永恆主的祝福才能使人富足；他並不加上憂傷。

法老因這婦人的緣故就好待亞伯蘭；亞伯蘭得了羊羣、牛羣、公驢、僕婢、母驢、駱駝。

約伯為他的朋友祈禱、永恆主就恢復約伯的故業；永恆主並且將約伯從前一切所有的都加倍賜給他。約伯的弟兄姐妹、和以前所認識的人都來見他，在他家裏一同喫飯；論到永恆主所降於他的一切災禍、他們都向他表示悲傷，安慰他；他們也每人送給他一塊銀錠，每人送一個金環。這樣、永恆主賜福與約伯的晚年就勝過他起初的：他有羊一萬四千隻，駱駝六千隻，牛一千對，母驢一千匹。

敬畏永恆主、存心謙卑、的賞報、乃是富足、尊榮、和生命。

他家中有富裕，有財物；他的仁義存立到永遠。

但是你們要先尋求他的國和他的義，這一切就都附加給你們了。

因着你父親的上帝——他必幫助你，因着全能的上帝——他必賜福與你：必將上面來的天福，將伏於地底下的淵泉之福，將胸哺胎生之福、都賜給你。

因為身體的操練、益處還少；惟獨敬虔、各方面都有益處，有今生和來生之應許。
