亞伯拉罕老邁了，年事已高，耶和華在一切事上都賜福給他。

亞伯蘭有很多牲畜和金銀。

我必使你成為大國，賜福給你，使你的名為大，你也必使別人得福，

他的家產有七千隻羊、三千匹駱駝、五百對牛、五百頭母驢，並且有許多僕婢。這人在全東方的人中至為尊貴。

亞伯拉罕死後，神賜福給他的兒子以撒；那時，以撒住在庇耳．拉海．萊附近。

你把你救恩的盾牌賜給我，你的右手扶持我，你的溫柔使我昌大。

耶和華所賜的福使人富足，並不加上愁煩。

以撒在那裡耕種，那一年豐收百倍，耶和華實在賜福給他。他就日漸昌大，越來越富有，成了個大富翁。他擁有羊群、牛群和很多僕人，非利士人就嫉妒他。

亞伯蘭因這女人的緣故就被優待，得了許多牛羊、公驢、母驢、僕婢和駱駝。

約伯替他的朋友禱告，耶和華就恢復約伯原來的景況，還照約伯以前所有的一切加倍賜給他。約伯的眾兄弟姊妹和以前認識的人都來見他，在他家裡與他一同吃飯，又因耶和華降予他的一切災禍都對他表同情，安慰他，每人送他一塊銀子和一個金環。這樣，耶和華後來賜給約伯的福比先前更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千匹駱駝、一千對牛、一千頭母驢。

謙卑和敬畏耶和華的賞賜，就是財富、榮耀和生命。

他家中有財富，有金錢，他的仁義存到永遠。

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

是你父親的神幫助你，是那全能者賜給你；他把從天上來的福，地下深淵蘊藏著的福，哺乳和生育的福，都賜給你。

因為操練身體，益處還少；唯獨操練敬虔，凡事有益，享有今生和來世的應許。
