Then food was set before him, but he said,“ I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say.”“ Then tell us,” Laban said.

Then food was served. But Abraham’s servant said,“ I don’t want to eat until I have told you why I have come.”“ All right,” Laban said,“ tell us.”

你们做奴仆的，要怀着敬畏和战兢，以忠实的心顺从自己在世上的主人，就像听从基督一样。不要只在人眼前服事，像是讨人的欢心，而要像基督的奴仆，从心里遵行神的旨意。要甘心乐意地服事，如同服事主，不是服事人，因为你们知道：每个人，无论是奴隶或是自由人，如果做了什么美善的事，就将从主那里领受这事的回报。

“我绝不进入我居住的帐篷，也不上到我睡臥的床铺，绝不允许我的眼睛睡觉，也不允许我的眼帘打盹——直到我为耶和华找到地方，为雅各的大能者找到住所。”

如果奴仆的主人是信徒，不可因为主人是弟兄就轻看他们；反而倒要服事他们，因为从这样的美事而得益处的，是信徒、是蒙爱的人。你要教导、劝勉这些事。

凡是你手当做的，你都当极力去做；因为在你必去的阴间没有工作，没有筹划，没有知识，也没有智慧。

这其间，门徒们劝耶稣说：“拉比，请吃。”但耶稣说：“我有食物吃，是你们所不知道的。”门徒彼此问：“难道有人拿东西来给他吃了吗？”耶稣对他们说：“我的食物就是遵行那派我来者的旨意，并且完成他的工作。

但如果有人喝了我给他的水，就绝不干渴，直到永远。不但如此，我给他的水将要在他里面成为泉源，一直涌流到永恒的生命。”

你看见过做事老练的人吗？他必站在君王面前，而不会站在低微的人面前。
