The man didn’t say a word. He watched her closely. He wanted to learn whether the Lord had given him success on the journey he had made.

The man gazed at her in silence to learn whether the Lord had prospered his journey or not.

The servant watched her in silence, wondering whether or not the Lord had given him success in his mission.

他說：「耶和華－我主人亞伯拉罕的上帝啊，求你施恩給我的主人亞伯拉罕，讓我今日就遇見吧！

凡有智慧的必在這些事上留心，他必思想耶和華的慈愛。

於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰，我的家算甚麼，你竟帶領我到這地步呢？主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，你又說到你僕人的家將來的情況。主耶和華啊，這豈是人的常理嗎？大衛還有甚麼可以對你說呢？主耶和華啊，你是知道你僕人的。

馬利亞卻把這一切的事存在心裏，反覆思考。

他就同他們下去，回到拿撒勒，並且順從他們。他母親把這一切的事都存在心裏。

我愛耶和華，因為他聽了我的聲音和我的懇求。他既向我側耳，我一生要求告他。死亡的繩索勒住我，陰間的痛苦抓住我，我遭遇患難愁苦。那時，我求告耶和華的名：「耶和華啊，求你救我！」耶和華有恩惠，有公義，我們的上帝有憐憫。耶和華保護愚蒙的人；我落到卑微的地步，他救了我。我的心哪！你要復歸安寧，因為耶和華用厚恩待你。

但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所做的奇事都稱謝他；

僕人對他們說：「耶和華既然使我道路亨通，你們就不要躭誤我，請讓我走，回我主人那裏去吧！」

我要時時稱頌耶和華，讚美他的話常在我口中。我的心必因耶和華誇耀，謙卑的人聽見就喜樂。你們要和我一同尊耶和華為大，讓我們一同高舉他的名。我曾尋求耶和華，他就應允我，救我脫離一切的恐懼。仰望他的人，就有光榮；他們的臉必不蒙羞。這困苦人呼求，耶和華就垂聽，救他脫離一切的患難。

你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！
